ABOUT OUR FARM
A Family-Owned Farm
We are Jed and Kristie Court, and our farming journey began shortly after we were married in 2001. We started on a dairy farm near Appleton, Wisconsin, working in exchange for our first heifer calf. In 2003, we purchased the milking herd and rented the farm buildings, later purchasing the home, buildings, and 10 acres of land in 2006.
A barn fire in 2009 nearly ended our farming career, but with hard work and support from family, friends, and the community, we rebuilt and continued farming. In 2019, after years of low milk prices, we sold the dairy herd and began transitioning the farm toward pasture-raised livestock and direct-to-customer farm products.
Today, Serenity Meadows PMA raises grass-fed beef, pork, chicken, eggs, seasonal produce, and farm-made goods. Our focus is responsible animal care, practical land stewardship, transparency, and providing dependable food for our members and local community.
