Our Farming Practices

ROTATIONAL GRAZING

Grass-Fed Beef Farming Practices

Our cattle are moved to fresh pasture every one to three days during the grazing season. Portable electric fencing allows us to create temporary paddocks, manage grazing more carefully, and give previously grazed areas time to recover.

SMALL-BATCH FARM GOODS
Homemade Jams and Jellies

Court Family Farms produces small-batch jams and jellies using fresh fruit and traditional family recipes. These locally made fruit spreads are available in a variety of classic and seasonal flavors for toast, baking, charcuterie boards, gifts, and everyday use.

PASTURE-RAISED
Pasture-Raised Meat Chickens

Our meat chickens are raised with access to fresh air, sunlight, and pasture during the growing season. We move them regularly to clean ground so they can forage naturally while supporting responsible animal care and healthy pasture management.

SOY-FREE FEEDING PRACTICES
Soy-Free Pork

Our pigs are raised on a soy-free diet as part of our approach to responsible animal care and farm management. Availability may vary throughout the year based on processing schedules and current inventory.

PASTURE-BASED FARMING
Pasture-Raised Lamb

Our sheep are raised with access to pasture and managed with attention to healthy forage, responsible animal care, and seasonal grazing conditions. Lamb availability may vary based on the farm’s current inventory and processing schedule.

SEASONAL FARM PRODUCE
Naturally Grown Vegetables

We grow seasonal vegetables using soil-focused practices such as crop rotation, composting, and careful garden management. Availability changes throughout the growing season based on weather, harvest timing, and current inventory.

FRESH AND SEASONAL

Monthly-ish Farm Box
